Fairy tales have the ability to touch the emotional world of children. Depending on their psychological-emotional disposition, the lessons learned through a fairy tale can accompany them throughout their lives. We believe that this fairy tale helps children to take an extra step towards teamwork and solidarity.

Few words about the author...

Loucas Skyllouriotis was born in Katokopia, Cyprus, on October 22, 1954. He has been a dentist since 1980. In recent years he has been working along with his children at the SKY DENTAL CENTER in Nicosia. Researching and creating are among his hobbies. Sculpting pleases him especially. He loves nature a great deal and feels very connected to the land. He likes to cultivate it and enjoy its fruits. Since 2008, he started writing lyrics for music. He has around 60 songs to his credit, two of which have been awarded in competitions with the second prize. He has also released a CD with children’s songs. Among them is the song with the same title as the fairy tale and is posted on the internet.

He has published another children’s story entitled “VALANTO AND HER DREAM” and is preparing the next one, inspired by the children’s songs “TA DIAMANTAKIA” (Little Diamonds) and “I KYRIA TERIDONA” (Mrs. Caries).

Few words about the illustrator...
